Thomas Zalutko

Tom Zalutko has had a successful and rewarding twenty-year career in the healthcare industry with experiences ranging from Quality Control to Sales and Management. As a manager, Tom was responsible for the development of both sales teams and future leaders while achieving and exceeding corporate goals.

In 2003, Tom left the workforce to become a Stay-Home-Dad to his daughters, Sarah and Danielle. While at home, Tom led his daughter’s two soccer teams as head coach and earned a national license in coaching while doing so.

In 2008, Tom was accepted into the Masters in Fine Arts program for Literary Writing at Pacific University, ranked 4th in the world at the time. It is here that he earned his Masters Degree in Literary Writing, graduating class of 2010.

With his designs set on writing, he entered his comedic short story, Bad Habit, into one of the world’s top literary journal competitions: Glimmer Train’s Short Story Award for New Writers, and earned the award of Finalist.

In 2010, after MC’ing an event in Vancouver, WA, Tom was approached by a local filmmaker to play the role of one of the characters in his film. Tom said, “Yes,” and his adventures began.

After ten years in the entertainment business, Tom’s credits include multiple feature films, national television and commercial projects, several theatre appearances, additional MC’ing events including the 2015 Hollywood Film Festival and pitching projects at the annual Cannes Film Festival in the south of France.

It is through these experiences, his background in sales leadership and a willingness to say, “Yes,” that Tom came to understand the power of connecting deeply with another human being, the importance of listening over speaking and how his training could help others.
